As a child, Sandy Price dreamed of owning a pony like Misty of Chincoteague. As a grown woman she makes her dream come true! With her two children, Chris and Pam she journeys to Chincoteague for the annual pony penning and sale. Determined to find a pony that resembles Misty they end up with not one, but four beautiful ponies - one of them a direct descendant of Misty! And soon there is a fifth, when Misty's offspring Sunshine has a fine filly that Sandy manes Twilight. Like her famous ancestor, Twilight is an exceptional pony, full of fire and talent. She excels at every task Sandy and her trainers devise. But there is a problem. Twi's unusual; markings speed and temperament make it difficult to classify her. Sandy the trainers and Twilight work hard to find exactly where Twilight's talent's lie. It will take a lot of time , patience , and heart but they will find a place for Twilight to shine.
