Mike Cleveland is the founder and president of Setting Captives Free, a non-denominational ministry which teaches the principles of freedom in Jesus Christ. He is a pastor at Ohio Valley Church, and an airline pilot with Continental Airlines. Mike has six children with his wife, Jody. He is the speaker on Setting Captives Free Radio, and has written seven books, including The Way of Purity: Enjoy Lasting Freedom in Christ.
Mike was captive to habitual sin and pornography for many years, which destroyed his first marriage. When he finally began to seek help, he learned the biblical solution to his problem: "repentance, forgiveness, and the newness of life that comes through the gospel." In January 1999, God changed Mike's heart, and he found forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ.
Since then, he claims to have been entirely free from all forms of habitual sin. After finding freedom by grace, Mike wrote an interactive course to teach biblical principles of freedom in Christ. Since then, God has brought many men and women to victory through the truth of Scripture and the grace of the gospel of Jesus Christ. To date, nearly a quarter of a million people have completed the material either online or in book form.
