Following a similar pattern to their Kindergarten program, this first grade year is a Bible-based phonics program that integrates basic math, science art, and social studies. All the phonics needed to learn to read are reinforced by worksheets and handwriting activities. Your child will learn to read classic bible stories and, with the help of hands-on activities and memory verses, will begin to understand the importance of God and his word. Science and math build on last year’s basics, with simple, fun science books, math manipulatives, and a supplementary workbook. This bible-based first grade year provides the beginning tools necessary to progress to the My Father’s World five-year middle school cycle.
First grade was revised in 2013. The new worksheets are NOT compatible with the old Teacher Manual. Most resources are the same, with a few additional resources added.
