MFW Adventures in U.S. History

This 2nd (or 3rd) grade program is a great place to start if your students aren't ready for the five-year middle school cycle. Focusing on American history, Adventures in My Father’s World provides a Christian education in basic subjects.Theteacher’s manual provides daily lessons in chart form to help you plan your school year in a stress-free way.

The backbone for your studies is the easy-to-read, information packed The Story of the U.S. Filling in the gaps are books such as the 4th of July and American Pioneers and Patriots and a journey through the 50 states. Simple, brightly illustrated science books provide basic information on weather, animals, atoms, plants, and energy. Daily readings and memory verses from The NIrV Discoverer's Bible for Young Readers help broaden their understanding of scripture and grow them in their love for God. Hands-on art projects and skills are fully integrated into your studies. From reading about our nation’s flag to doing fun, simple science experiments, you and your child will enjoy an exciting year of God-centered learning.
