MFW 1850 to Modern Times

1850 to Modern Times completes the four-year chronological history program that began with Creation to the Greeks. This year, you and your children will study American history from the Civil war to the Space race. Plenty of hands-on activities like cooking recipes from the past and writing opportunities enforce the lessons and make learning fun. The 1850 to Modern Times guide is supplemented by Story of the World 4 and American History. Science for this year focuses on learning chemistry and physics with 100 Science Experiments and World of Science. Stories from around the world are used to illustrate key bible passages and inspire children with stories of heroic Christians. Included in the deluxe package are classic literature like Across Five Aprils and Sergeant York, and an art & music program that focuses on learning patriotic songs and enhancing artistic skills. Though the materials for this program are a bit more difficult than in past years, your child will be able to master them with this program’s guidance and instruction.
