Mary Dodson Wade

Born in 1930 in Texas, Wade later graduated from Baylor University with a bachelor's degree and then attended Texas Women's University to earn her master's degree in library science.  This teacher, librarian, speaker, and author is fascinated by history. Having first started writing for magazines, Wade then became an award-winning children's book author of both fictional stories and nonfiction biographies.  She founded Colophon House, a publishing company, and when she isn't at home in Houston, she travels with her husband all over the world.
