Martin D. Carlson, 51, lives peaceably with his wife, daughter, son, a dog and two cats in the country. He has two bachelor degrees (Bible; Journalism) but will go no further with his education as he can't bear to have two masters.
He has been a massage therapist for 23 years and a Medical Massage Practitioner about half that long, but is tired of people perpetually asking if he has their backs; does he expect any shoulder work ahead; and especially, whether he has ever rubbed anybody the wrong way. Tales of him gouging patients are greatly exaggerated, as he has bitten his nails regularly since marrying. For those and other reasons he has turned to writing children's stories.

Beyond family, the passions driving Mr. Carlson's life are God, His Bible, and good literature. He claims "antelope" is twice in the Bible, and challenges his readers to find it on either occasion.
