Linda Allison was born in San Bernardino, CA on July 7, 1948 to Lewis and Marie Allison. Her degree (A.B.) is from the University of California. She has worked on such Brown Paper School favorites as Blood and Guts and The Book of Think. Her books encourage children and parents to learn while playing. She now lives in San Francisco with her family.
