Irons is an ordained minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. Presently he is the Pastor of Redeemer OPC and a research administrator at Charles Drew University of Medicine and Science. He's working on a Ph.D. in the New Testament at Fuller University Seminary. Irons also writes and has written essays and articles. His wife Misty is a home school mom of three and a writer herself.
