Kevin Hawkes is the illustrator of works such as
The Librarian Who Measured the Earth, Lady Bugatti, and
His Royal Buckliness. Hawkes, who graduated with a degree in illustration, has a love of art that stems from childhood. After working in Boston and New York for a couple of years, he finally started receiving assignments from publishers, and has been popular since. Hawkes' artistry, full of color and wit, adds a pleasant counterpoint to the books he illustrates. Hawkes enjoys the outdoors as well as painting, and resides in Southern Maine with his family.
