Kathryn Hewitt

Kathryn Hewitt is an author and illustrator who at first hoped to pursue a career as an artist. She studied art in college and spent time repainting antique china in London before discovering children's literature as a profession. Since she could write and paint, two of her passions, and make a living from it, Hewitt decided to become a children's author.  Hewitt has illustrated five of her own works, as well as numerous books by other authors, inlcuding Marguerite Makes a Book, Godiva, and The Three Sillies. She live in Santa Monica, California with her husband and their two children.
