Josephine Poole

Josephine Poole

Poole was born in England on February 12, 1933. Her father managed an engineering firm and her mother illustrated children's books. The professionalism with which her mother worked and her artistic abilities greatly influenced Poole. Starting as an avid reader, Poole then started writing at age six. When she grew up, she used the surroundings and memories of the feelings from her youth to invoke deep emotional responses in her readers. Suspenseful and often scary, Poole's literary depth grabs the reader and vindicates good over evil. She continues to reside in England.
