The books in this section are usually hardcover and in decent shape, though we'll sometimes offer hard-to-find books in lesser condition at a reduced price. Though we often put images of the book with their original dust jackets, the copies here won't always (or even often) have them. Fair-haired Johnny-up-the-creek and dark-haired Johnny-down-the creek are cousins, separated only by the body of water that runs between their homes. When Johnny-up's mother decides he should take up quilting to help gentle him in the traditional Quaker way, the two boys clash over Johnny-up's involvement in an activity usually participated in only by girls.
