Basically an introduction to Christology and the importance of the Messiah in the Scriptural accounts, Jesus is a compendium of information ranging from the apologetic (did Jesus really exist?) to the doctrinal (who was Jesus and why was He sent?). If you're looking for deep theology you won't find it here, but you will find briefings on the fundamental Christian beliefs concerning the Nazarene and His ministry, including a harmony of the Gospels, the relation of Christ to the Passover, and notes on the Lord's Prayer and the Beatitudes. A good choice for new Christians not yet ready for in-depth study, this book could also serve as a forerunner to a more thorough doctrinal study for high schoolers.
