The books in this section are usually hardcover and in decent condition, though we'll sometimes offer hard-to-find books in lesser condition at a reduced price. Though we often put images of the book with their original dust jackets, the copies here won't always (or even often) have them. If that is important to you, please call ahead or say so in the order comments!

This is a 1931 first edition copy of a rare Babe Ruth book called How to Play Baseball. It includes 33 chapters, including titles such as "Fielding for Pitchers," "How to Throw a Knuckle Ball," "Blocking the Plate," "Treatment of Charlie-Horses," and "Signals." Many photos throughout of Babe, with "Eddie" and "Mac," teaching these lessons.

Minimal pencil underlining on pages 32 and 55. Spine cracking at pages 80/81. Otherwise in great shape. Compare on Amazon for $195-$300!
