Goblins have taken over the town synagogue, so no one dares to light the Hanukkah lights. Until a stranger comes to town, Hershel of Ostropol, who agrees to spend each night of Hanukkah in the synagogue to rid it of goblins. Through various schemes, Hershel tricks the goblins each night, until the final night of Hanukkah when we must face the Goblin King himself.
