H.G.C. Marsh-Lambert

Helen Grace Culverwell Marsh-Lambert or HGC Marsh-Lambert, born in Bristol in 1888, was a British writer and illustrator of children's books and postcards. Commonly known as Gracie, she was the daughter of a hosier and an American mother. She married a banker named Charles T. Lambert in 1913 and adopted Marsh-Lambert as her working name. She died in 1981.
