Gaylan DuBose (M. A., Classics) graduated with high honors from The University of North Texas in 1964, and is the co-author of the Latin Alive! series. His major was English and his minors were Latin and history. He received a Master of Arts in Classics from the University of Minnesota, to which he had received a fellowship, in 1970. Gaylan has enthusiastically taught Latin for over 40 years. He has served on the National Latin Exam Board of Directors for many years and is currently a senior judge. He teaches the Latin Alive! courses for Scholé Academy, a virtual academy from Classical Academic Press.
