The books in this section are usually hardcover and in decent shape, though we'll sometimes offer hard-to-find books in lesser condition at a reduced price. Though we often put images of the book with their original dust jackets, the copies here won't always (or even often) have them.  If you need to see photos of the actual book or have questions about the condition, please call or email.

Fish Head is a scrappy, loner, thieving cat, and proud of his life on the wharf of Clambake Island. However, one night, after chasing a grandfather rat until exhausted, he falls asleep on a boat, and awakes to find himself at sea with Kegs and Carrots, two sailors on a trading voyage.

This charming story by children's biographer Jean Fritz describes Fish Head's adjustment to a new life, and in the process, this feral cat manages to wriggle his way into your heart.
