This reader doesn't look like much, with illustrations that we don't find especially compelling--but it's hefty and includes some excellent authors that are often hard-to-find, including Anne Terry White, Katherine B. Shippen, Allen Chaffee, Jim Kjelgaard, Walter Havighurst, Sonia Bleeker, and Irwin Shapiro, among others. Meant for students around 4th-6th grade.
