Book of Psalms for Singing

The singing of Psalms in corporate worship seems to be a rare thing nowadays. But the Psalter is God's hymn book, and in The Psalms, God teaches His people how to worship Him in understanding (Ps. 47: 6, 7). When we sing the Psalms (and pay attention to what we are singing), we learn about God as He is, not just as we want Him to be. In learning more about who He is, we learn more about how we are to truly worship Him.

This Psalter offers at least one song (usually two or more, and as many as 24!) for each Psalm in the Bible, and it is nicely laid-out for people singing in four-part harmony. To hear some examples of the music contained, you may listen to samples from the CDs below.
