Earning his Bachelor's degree from California State University and his Master's degree from State University of New York, Petersen began working at a variety of jobs. He has been a museum curator, was involved in ministerial training and pastoral leadership, and has taught the Old Testament and Christian evidences to college students. Traveling far and wide, Petersen lectures and gives seminars with humor and simplicity that help demonstrate the glory of the Creator. The founder of the Creation Resource Foundation and author of Unlocking the Mysteries of Creation, Petersen and his family live in California.
