Danny Dunn

Jay Williams, co-author of the Danny Dunn books, has been a professional writer for the past thirty-five years. To his credit are forty- five fiction and non-fiction titles for children of all ages, in addition to the fifteen books about Danny. Parents, teachers, librarians, reviewers, and especially children have found his prize-winning books, among them The Hawk-Stone, Petronella, Everyone Knows What a Dragon Looks Like, and The Practical Princess, memorable and enchanting. Mr. Williams also has an enviable reputation on both sides of the Atlantic as an author of adult novels. Born in Buffalo, New York, he was educated at the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, and the Art Students' League. Mr. Williams is now living in Newport, Rhode Island.

Raymond Abrashkin authored and co-produced the very popular and successful "Little Fugitive'' which won an award at the Venice Film Festival.
