The books in this section are usually hardcover and in decent shape, though we'll sometimes offer hard-to-find books in lesser condition at a reduced price. Though we often put images of the book with their original dust jackets, the copies here won't always (or even often) have them. A pair of cowboy boots and a horse–those were what Bob wanted most of anything in the world. For how could he be a real cowboy without them?

While spending the summer on his uncle's ranch in Wyoming, Bob watches the men break wild horses, brand calves, and train cow ponies. With Montana, the top hand, he rides the range, rounds up cattle, and helps fight a prairie fire.

But Bob's greatest adventure came when he was alone. A sudden mountain storm dashes a flood of water down a narrow gulch, sweeping with it a girl on horseback. It is up to Bob to save her–to Bob and a little piece of rope he had learned never to leave behind.

COWBOY BOOTS is a thrilling story, and one so full of everyday ranch life that the reader who feels like a tenderfoot at the start will be- fore the end feel like a real cowboy.
