Although still called a first edition, this printing is different from earlier ones. Instead of a 95 page book with an empty picture "frame" on each left page and blank one-inch handwriting lines on each right page, this printing has reduced the number of pages to 48, each with a half-page picture frame on the top and seven dotted lines for writing on the bottom. Either way, however, this is ideal for helping your young student write and illustrate his or her own story.
