Charles Johnson Post

Journalist, artist, and author, Post was born on August 27, 1873. He later worked for the Associated Press and directed a Navy Department film. Post's involvement in the film industry helped show the success of talking motion pictures. He also created his own process of subtractive color photographs and painted pictures of the Spanish American War. As an author Post penned the book Private Enterprise Did This. Having previously served in the U.S. Army, upon his death on September 25, 1956, Post was buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
