Carole Goodman Adams

A native Virginian, Carole serves as president of the Foundation for American Christian Education in Chesapeake, Virginia, faithfully carrying out the mission of the founders, Verna Hall and Rosalie Slater. She is the directing editor of the kindergarten through twelfth grade Principle Approach curriculum now published as The Noah Plan. The school Carole founded in 1980 to fulfill the Principle Approach vision in every subject, StoneBridge School in Chesapeake, Virginia, is now the national demonstration school for the Foundation for American Christian Education, and serves as a practical model to schools across the nation and the world.

Carole continues to inspire a new generation of scholars and teachers as the editor of The Journal of the Foundation for American Christian Education and the Principle Approach Education newsletter, and by speaking her insights in defense of liberty and our God-given role as citizens, parents, teachers, and scholars. Her trademark lecture and article, "The Christian Idea of the Child," describes the Biblical concept of childhood; Carole has guided thousands of teachers and parents by teaching courses and through her book The Noah Plan English Language Curriculum Guide. Carole also serves on the boards of StoneBridge School and the Foundation for American Christian Education. She and her husband, John, are parents of a son and two daughters, and they have seven grandchildren.
