Dr. Bruce Whiteney received his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota School of Kinesiology. He and his wife Lynn have eight children and they have home educated their children since 1987.
Dr. Whitney's professional experiences include teaching at the elementary, secondary, and college levels. His responsibilities have included being an intramural director, a day camp director, and a coach for a variety of sports. As a college professor he was involved in training future teachers in physical education. He also gained a cross-cultural perspective to sport and fitness while teaching at the University of the Philippines, Manila. He has taught physical education in two home school co-ops. His insights come from years of teaching experience as a professional and as a parent.
