Blokus Trigon is a super-challenging twist on the award-winning strategy game Blokus. Each Trigon piece is formed by one or more small triangles. The object is to place these pieces on the game board—tip to tip—with your own pieces. Angles jut in every direction, so new strategies are always evolving. Think carefully! You can block—or be blocked—at any moment. Place the most triangles on the board and you win!
The game can be played by two, three, or four players ages five to adult, but is especially good played with three or four players. A typical game takes 20-30 minutes.
How to Play Blokus Trigon:

Each player chooses a color and takes a set of 22 pieces. Each player in turn places one of his pieces on one of the six starting points marked on the board (See Figure A). The goal is for players to fit as many of their pieces on the board as possible. |

Players alternate turns, placing one piece on the board during a turn. Each new piece must touch at least one other piece of the same color but only at the corners! Pieces of the same color cannot touch along an edge. Pieces can touch opponents' pieces on corners and sides (See Figure B). Be tactical—block your opponent while expanding your own territory. |

The game ends when both players are blocked from laying down any more of their pieces. This also includes a player who may have placed all of his pieces on the board. Scores are tallied. The winner is the player for whom the total area of his remaining pieces is the lowest (See Figure C). |

These pieces are fairly small, sharp edged and look like candy, so keep away from small children inclined to put such objects in their mouth!
