A real-estate investor and developer, Pent is deeply involved in not only commercial retail sites and natural gas fields but also sharing his love of the Lord. While growing up, he and his family sang, quoted Bible verses, and played musical instruments for people all over the United States. In his teens he wrote a book called Ten P's in a Pod
, capturing his youth. It was republished by Vision Forum forty-five years later for a new generation of readers. Pent credits the Lord for enabling him to be an entrepreneur and to be able to work with his sons. With one son he is developing salt-water disposal for companies drilling for natural gas. With another son, Pent founded Pent Energy LLC in 2004 which looks for available gas and oil properties for purchase with the intent to expand their drilling systems. Pent lives with his wife of over thirty-five years on a farm in Virginia. CSS
