Anno's Journey is a book without words, but you'll still spend plenty of time here. The meticulous and imaginative drawings record the author's journey through northern Europe and his impressions of the land, the people at work and play, and their art, architecture, folklore, and fairy tales. Along the way, Anno includes visual puzzles, tricks of perception, details from famous paintings, and more. Think of this as a more beautiful and sophisticated "Where's Waldo?"
Kids will enjoy this, but adults will probably appreciate it even more!
