"What will you do for me if I give you some ships?" the king of Spain asked Columbus.
"I will bring you all the precious things of the East," answered Columbus. "I will find new lands of which you will be king. I will also teach the people of China the stories in the Bible."
"And what do you want for yourself?" asked the queen.

"Oh, no! That's too much," exclaimed the king and the queen together. "We won't give you any ships. That's too much."
