Together, Tom McGowen and Rod Ruth take us well beyond the shark stereotype. While no book on the subject would be complete without such fierce killers as the great white shark and the hammerhead, so it would be lacking without sharks like the sluggish wobbegong and the huge though practically harmless whale shark. Large and small, treacherous and gentle –the variety of sharks presented here is great.
