This lecture from Christian Liberty Press provides phonics instructors with guidance in the correct pronunciation of each vowel and consonant sound. It also includes special tips for teaching beginning readers. This lecture can be used to supplement any phonics program but is designed to work with Adventures in Phonics: Level A.
The Adventures in Phonics: Phonics Sounds and Teaching Tips lecture was prepared and delivered by Mrs. Callie Lindstrom. Mrs. Lindstrom was blessed to grow up in a Christian home where her parents taught her how to read utilizing the method of intensive phonics. As a teenager, Callie often tutored her younger siblings in reading, and also helped to teach others from outside of her immediate family. After her formal education was completed, Callie Lindstrom continued to tutor young students and eventually taught at the kindergarten level within the nationally recognized Christian Liberty Academy in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
Mrs. Lindstrom is currently educating her six children at home in northern Indiana.
