3-Star Rating

Recommended with Reservations

These books are pretty good; some are really good.

But we'd like to promote a bit more caution and discernment while reading them. Some are here purely for aesthetic reasons. Some we just weren't feeling, and some had too many worldview or content issues—not enough to completely break a book, but just enough to admit some reservations. For the most part, these books could be better, but they're by no means the worst.

Some of our favorites are in here too, and that's fine. We are (we hope!) mature enough to admit when something we like isn't perfect. You may find something you like in here too.
