Virgil M. Hillyer

Virgil M. Hillyer was an author and educator best known for his book, A Child's History of the World. A student of Harvard University, Hillyer authored numerous other books and articles related to education. As an educatior, he developed the curriculum of Calvert School in Maryland, a classical school, indicative of his support for a well-rounded, classical education.
