The Inklings

C. S. Lewis and J. R. R. Tolkien and known and beloved the world over, and much has been written and published about their friendship. Slightly less well-known is the fact that, with several others, they had a literary club called the Inklings, which first met as a group in the fall of 1933. We plan to use this page as a springboard to the lives of these men, listing biographies, literary analysis, and more, and including fun links about the group and individual men as we find them. This is NOT intended to be a listing of their works, per se, but will include the occasional collection as we can offer something substantial or unique.
