Science Experiments & Activities

One of the great things about science is the hands-on element. In order to test hypotheses, scientists are required to test them practically, and when kids are allowed to test what they've read in their textbook it generally drives home concepts much better than simply trying to memorize the facts. A lot of these experiments are messy (another thing kids like), but they are all educational and actually science-related. The reason many kids prefer science as a subject is because of experiments, and there are plenty here to keep them busy and learning for a long time.
