Paul Sagsoorian was born in New York. He studied art at several schools in New York City, and also went to the Map Making School of the U.S. Army. In 1957, the Ameri- can Institute of Graphic Arts selected a book illustrated by Paul Sagsoorian as one of the Fifty Best Books of the Year. Mr. Sagsoorian has been free-lancing since he completed his art training. Now he works for art studios, advertising agencies, and book publishers.
