With Eli still on sabbatical, Lauren and Rhiannon are keeping the store running. We had to close a few days last month for the snow, but Rhiannon braved the ice one day to fill online orders! This month we are excited to host an author signing for our friend K.J. Forster, who just released her very first picture book, The Tailor's Sword. Come join us on Friday night, February 17th. There will be games, books, and some delicious pie!
For better or for worse, February is when we talk about love. This month our entire marriage and family section is on sale: 20% off new books in this category, 30% off used books. There's a lot of good stuff in there, from dating and preparing for marriage, to communication, sex, and parenting.
February is also black history month. Obviously, black history can't be reduced to a single month, but it's always a good time to add books by or about black Americans into your reading list or history curriculum. We have a growing selection to browse.
