It's officially spring in Oregon, which means we're getting rain, and lots of it. The rain spout above our front door is thoroughly baptizing customers as they enter.
Inside the store, we've just wrapped up our customer survey. (Congratulations to our sweepstakes winner, Cassandra Walker!) We had more than 400 individual responses, and we're still sorting through all your comments. Your feedback has been immensely helpful. In fact, we've already started to implement some changes around the store influenced by your comments and suggestions.

After some feedback about our summer reading program, we're reworking the structure of the challenge. We're excited about some of the changes! Summer reading program sign-up opens in May, so we'll have more details next month.

The Bring Your Own Bag sale is happening now to make room for hosting community events like workshops and game nights. Until April 15th, bring in any size bag and get as much clearance as you can fit inside for $1 a pound. Hurry in before the books run out!

We're working on cleaning off the front desk and moving Eli's workspace to the information desk in the curriculum room. More room for him to run the business, and less clutter for you!

You've recommended a lot of great products that we should be carrying, especially in the areas of math, science, and foreign language. We've already started carrying RightStart math, we're now accepting used (current) Christian Light, and we're opening accounts to add more.

Other suggestions like additional signage, shopping baskets and nicer places to sit are also in the works.
As always, we are greatly encouraged by your continual support of Exodus. Indie bookstores, and especially Christian ones, are becoming more and more of a rarity these days. The fact that we're still around means you think we're worth keeping in business, and we appreciate that.
