Karl E. Valois

A former chairman of the social studies department at St. Joseph High School, Valois is currently an adjunct professor of history at the University of Connecticut.  Having been seen on both television and radio, Valois has also edited books about European and American history, published articles, and has penned well-researched books for History Compass company, including The Cuban Missile Crisis and The Korean War.  Valois continues to give lectures on slavery in Connecticut and other matters of historical importance.
