Joel R. Beeke

Dr. Joel R. Beeke is a man who, for the last 27 years, has devoted himself to ministry in numerous capacities. After graduating from Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia, in 1988 with a Ph.D. in Reformation and Post-Reformation theology, he is currently the President and Professor of Systematic Theology and Homiletics at the Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary and the Academic Dean for students of Heritage Reformed congregations. For the last nineteen years, he has served as the pastor of Heritage Reformed Congregation in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has written, or has been involved in the completion of, over fifty books, and is the author of fifteen hundred articles, contributed to all kinds of Reformed publications. He serves as the editor of Banner of Sovereign Grace Truth, the director of Reformation Heritage Books, president of Inheritance Publishers, and vice-president of the Dutch Reformed Translation Society. Dr. Beeke frequently travels to Reformed Seminaries and around the world to lecture. He and his wife, Mary, have three children, named Calvin, Esther, and Lydia.
