We get the impression that the folks at IEW are perfectionists (mostly in good ways), and when they release a new edition of a product, they want the earlier versions out of circulation and recall them. As a result, it's rare to find used copies of older editions. We think these are perfectly good books and will work for a single family situation, but please note that they will NOT work with current co-op classes (like CC), and any promises of free downloads are null & void (we've tried to remove these, but may have missed some).
Also, be aware that the Student Writing Intensives and SWI Continuation Courses have been replaced by a much easier-to-use series of products: Structure & Style for Students.
