Hugh Tredennick

A British translator and editor of works by Aristotle, Plato, and Xenophon, Tredennick was born in 1899.  Before he passed away in 1982, he left behind a tremendous legacy as an author and as a professor of classics at the Royal Holloway College.  Tredennick also served as the dean of the Faculty of Arts at London University.
