Geography Matters is a diverse home-based company owned and operated by Josh and Cindy Wiggers. They create, write, publish, laminate, and distribute a dozen books, 18 map titles, and 15 CD-ROMS, and are, as far as we are concerned, the premier resource for homeschool geography materials. Started in 1989 with a few geography items and two "Mark-It Map" titles, they have since added more than 15 titles and a number of map sets, written and published geography curriculum guides, provide a number of items in eBook format, and designed an award winning reproducible outline map book (and CD-ROM). They continue to add more titles—both ones written by them and by other authors. Their goal is to lend a hand to parents and teachers at "helping children develop a delight for learning," therefore the products they produce and recommend are those which keep that focus in mind.
