Summertime in the Big Woods is a good book because Laura, Mary and Carrie are very nice to each other. Sometimes visitors come over to their house and there are more children for Laura and Mary to play with. And sometimes, their Mom lets them go visiting to Mrs. Peterson's. When it is time for them to go home, they nibble only half of their cookies. When you read the book, you will see why they only nibbled-half. It is a good reason and you will be glad if you do read the book because it is a very, very awesome book!
