Dari Mullins fell in love with history and geography when beginning to research home education in 1995. Dari and her husband, Allen, have taught their own three children at home since the oldest started kindergarten. Dari has co-authored with Loree Pettit the books Galloping the Globe and Cantering the Country, is a motivational speaker, and is active with the home school community in Asheville, North Carolina. She encourages families to go beyond textbooks and enjoy studying together.
