Every child who has ever owned a dollhouse or toy castle has at one point imagined what it would be like to be able to shrink down and live inside of it.
This is exactly what happens to William when he recieves a large, beautiful castle for his birthday. The little silver knight in his hand comes to life and informs William that the evil wizard Alastor has cast a spell on him, turning him to lead and banishing him to this miniature castle.
The knight shrinks William down to his size, and he and William go on a quest to save his land from the evil Alastor. It's a thrilling adventure that's sure to capture the imagination of young readers—and even older readers who once dreamed of the very same thing.
