This book of stories is suitable to read to children under seven, although older children may enjoy reading them independently. There are seventeen Old Testament stories altogether, each on a double page spread, and all beautifully illustrated by Fred Apps. There is a child-friendly and appropriate prayer to conclude each story. The last three pages talk about the stories and how they are relevant to children's lives today.
